Possible reasons are,

Loose fitting of casing pipe. The seepage water from the top loose formation while trickling down will carry the colloidal clay particle and enter into the bore well through the gap between seating and pipe end. The trickling would be a flow if you have met with good water yielding zone in the loose weathered part. This over the nonpumping period will fill the bore along with the source water from the other zone. If the static water level stands above the casing bottom then the flow will be less.

As it is difficult to make extrusions using polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it becomes necessary to add plasticizers to make the compound pliable. Try to drop a small pebble (glass marble) , approximately 5 mm in diameter and measure the amount of time it takes to touch the water. The thumb rule is about 15 ft per second hence if water is at around 90 ft, it should take 6 seconds to strike water. The sound would be loud and audible on surface. Once that is confirmed pour some water, say about 1000 liters in the well and see if the pump is functioning properly. At a minimum, 60% of the water that you put in should be pumped out.

Hydrofracturing is a well development process that involves injecting water under high pressure into a bedrock formation via the well. This is intended to increase the size and extent of existing bedrock fractures, pumping water into those fractures at pressures as high as 3000 psi and flow rates as high as 85 gallons per minute, this cleans out the fractures and allows them to interconnect with nearby water bearing fractures. Water can then flow back thru these fractures and into the well at a faster rate than before.

It is the normal practice to drill 6½-inch bore wells in the hard rock areas of Bangalore with blank casing installed deep into the hard rock and no casing pipe at all beyond that depth so that only clear water free of turbidity enters the well from one or more water-bearing fractures within hard rock. Care is taken to disallow any muddy water entering the well from surface or shallow depths by sealing the annular spacing between the casing pipes and between the casing pipe and the adjoining geological formation.
