Hi,

I have dug a borewell 760 ft deep and found some silt at 270 ft and 600 ft. A plastic casing has been put throughout the depth of the borewell. In case I want to dig the borewell a few feet deeper then do I have to remove the plastic casing?

Regards
Praveen

I would like to understand what does air passing mean. We have drilled a borewell in Bangalore. We have got the water source at 850 ft and tried to drill it further. When we reached 875 ft, driller told us that it cannot be drilled further as there is air passing in the borewell. Please help to understand about "air passing" and suggest a better water source.

Thank you.

We are not getting water for past 2-3 months from our borewell. The borewell is 880 ft deep, water level is till 535 ft, two water sources, one at 90 ft and other at 795 ft. Our existing pipe reaches till 856 ft. The yield of this borewell is low. The team who pulled the borewell is suggesting us to replace the column pipe which is 1.5" diameter to 1.25". I would like to understand if the diameter of the column pipe can cause such an issue?

Hello, I have re-bored my existing borewell after 2 years and its depth has increased from 600 ft to 900 ft. The pipe of the borewell has been extended upto 850 ft. But suddenly motor power has increased to 15 and sometimes in the night the motor stops working. The mechanic has advised to take out the motor and inspect, but I am worried about the joint, if it will break. Please suggest is it safe to continue the connection with a jointed pipe or do I need to replace the entire pipe all over again. I really don't know the reason as to why the amp meter is showing above 10.

We have booked an apartment in Bellandur, Bangalore, where we see the nearby lake, turning into a nalla after few meters.
I need to know whether the borewells in the vicinity will be impacted by nalla and what should be the distance between them? What all questions should we ask to the builder about water getting impacted by nalla?
Thanks
