Recently we moved to an area in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, called Perungudi, which has a few temples and hence a temple tank. The tank is now more or less dry and dirty. Is it possible to rejuvenate the tank? If so what is the course of action to take? And I don't mean activism. Should  the temple trust, if there is one, the panchayat head, or any other authority be contacted. This area was a quiet suburb earlier and is now being rapidly urbanized with flats and industries coming up all around, yet is in the control of the Panchayat. Is there any thing that can be done?
