As per KSPCB guide line Fecal Coliform content (MPN/100ml) should be less than 100 for  effluent from STP, where as e.coli limit for drinking water is zero.  Hence, if such (STP) water is pumped into toilets it may be hazardous as chances of the bacteria coming in contact with food and water cannot be ruled out.

Do you agree that the KSPCB guide lines should not be applied if STP-recycled-water is used for toilet flushing? Please lshare your thoughts on this and confirm my query.
