Dug borewell upto 140ft, clean water appeared at 80ft (casing upto 60 ft). Post that, we installed CRI 1 HP submersible pump and we started getting mud water for couple of mins and then the pump stopped automatically. The borewell is located near a lake in Hyderabad. We tried second time using compressor, and found clean water at about 100-120 ft. We fixed the pump at 110ft. 

Please help us understand why this is happening? Provide a solution or next steps to solve this problem?
