We got a borewell dug a year ago in Jayanagar, Banagalore. It has gone dry now. The details of borewell are a follows:

Depth of borewell - 72'

Casing of borewell -72'

Type of drilling - gas bore

Yield - around 2" 

On examination through a camera we found that the camera stopped at 52' and did not go beyond and we were told that there was silt.

What should be done now - get it cleaned, introduce a filter casing and use it or dig a borewell at another point in the residential site (30' x 40')
