Dear Sir,

My domestic 6 inch bore well is not supplying sufficient water through a mono block 1 HP motor placed at a distance with multiple bends. The details of bore well are:

• Bore well diameter: 6 inch
• Water bed availability at 80 feet
• Bore well maximum depth: 170 feet

I was advised to go for submersible motor/pump to get sufficient water. I request you to kindly suggest the type and capacity of submersible pump/motor to purchase.

Also kindly clarify whether the motor can be located at distance of 150 feet immersed or otherwise, any direction to take care of. Is it necessary that the submersible motor be immersed in to water? And, if the water level is down, what are the precautions should I have take?
