Hello,

One of my neighbors is using the dry borewell to drain the untreated wastewater from the kitchen/bathroom. While I know that this practice would contaminate groundwater, my neighbor's response is that it is his borewell and he can do anything with it.

Is this practice legally allowed? if not allowed, which section of the law prevents this inhumane practice? or whom to approach to approach if I have to make a complaint about this?

Please help share some knowledge about this.
