I am very keen on knowing about the possible impacts of the Umngot river HEP which is being constructed. The submergence of land has been talked about even in the EIA, but as the locals claim will the river go dry? Further is constructing a dam in a seismic area a wise decision? I would like to know more in depth about this issue as my organisation Youth For Climate India has been working on it.
