Watershed Support Services and Activities Network (WASSAN) is an autonomous support organization, working to promote NRM based livelihoods in rain fed areas. WASSAN mainly focuses on capacity building, technical support and policy advocacy through its various projects funded by Government, national and international donors and other agencies. WASSAN is looking for Technical Officer(s) to work for the inland tank based fisheries in rainfed areas.

Job description:

The job responsibilities include: Develop formats for baseline survey, organize training programs to the primary stakeholders and staff, provide technical support to the fisher folk, identify and support the project staff, project coordination, process documentation, report writing. Develop monthly, quarterly and annual plans and prepare project reports.

Qualification:

Bachelor degree in Fisheries Science (B.FSc) / Master of Science in Zoology. Master degree in Fisheries Science (M.FSc). At least 2 years in the field of fisheries.
