Rahul Kumar

Rahul Kumar is a documentary filmmaker and multimedia storyteller who documents real-life stories from communities across rural India. While filming people’s everyday lives, he began to see how deeply water is connected to farming, livelihoods, health, climate and many other challenges. This experience encouraged him to look beyond what the camera captures and develop a deeper understanding of water-related issues. Through the fellowship, Rahul hopes to learn from experts, engage with different perspectives and strengthen his ability to communicate complex water issues through accessible visual stories. He believes storytelling can help build awareness, encourage conversations and inspire action towards a more water-secure future.
