Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience:
Four Years Bachelor’s Degree (4 year B.Sc. degree as per National Education Policy) in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural/ Forestry Sciences from a recognized institute/ University
OR
Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences from recognized institute/ University
Desirable Qualification(s)
Candidates with prior experience in the Field of Remote sensing and GIS on Ecological Projects, demonstrated experience/aptitude in a) Wildlife, ecology research, b) statistical analysis and spatial ecological modelling in R, c) project design and coordination of a multi-disciplinary project team and field data collection d) research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals
Salary
37,000 + HRA (NET or CSIR NET and GATE qualified candidates)
30,000 + HRA (For non-NET or CSIR NET and GATE qualified candidates)
