Position Summary:
The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of the WaSH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program of VCF across geographies with a focus on scaling up projects across multiple regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the water sector, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. The program manager will work closely with stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners to ensure impactful and sustainable program execution.

Brief Job Description:
1. Program Leadership & Execution:
• Lead the implementation of the WaSH program.
• Develop and oversee project strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sustainability principles.
• Ensure timely execution of project deliverables, budgets, and impact assessments.

2. Team Management & Capacity Building:
• Supervise and mentor program officers and field teams, ensuring accountability and capacity development.
• Facilitate training programs and workshops to strengthen team expertise in WaSH and project implementation.
• Foster a collaborative work culture that enhances team productivity and morale.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, donors, NGOs, and community institutions.
• Represent VCF at high-level meetings, conferences, and policy forums related to water and sanitation.
• Work with local communities to promote participation in water resource management and sanitation initiatives.

4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:
• Establish and oversee monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress and impact.
• Develop data-driven insights and reports for internal reviews and donor presentations.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards and budgetary requirements.

5. Policy Advocacy & Knowledge Sharing:
• Advocate for policy reforms and funding support for WaSH initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Document best practices and case studies for knowledge dissemination and replication of successful models.

6. Innovation & Sustainability:
• Identify and integrate technology-driven solutions for improved water governance and sanitation.
• Promote climate-resilient and sustainable water resource management practices.

Key Deliverables:
• Effective execution of WaSH programs and multi-region expansion initiatives.
• Strengthened capacities of the program team and community institutions and local governing bodies.
• Improved access to safe drinking water solutions for targeted populations.
• Measurable improvements in groundwater table levels and watershed conservation efforts.
• High-impact collaborations with government agencies, donors, and technical partners.

Experience:
• Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in water and sanitation programs, natural resource management, or community-based development projects.
• Proven experience in leading multi-regional programs and working with government schemes and donor-funded projects.
• Prior experience in team management and capacity building is essential.
• Fluency in Telugu and English is preferred.

Qualification:
•Graduation/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resource Development, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, or similar kinds of disciplines.
