About the Organisation:
Pragya is a non-governmental, development organization working to improve the lives of underserved populations in several developing countries. The organization delivers integrated and holistic development projects in the areas of areas of Natural Resource Management and Climate Change, Gender, Education, Appropriate Technology, and Disaster Management. Role:
a. Project Management: Help in the implementation of projects in the NRM domain, including projects on forest fires, Medicinal Plants conservation and on Climate Change. Contribute on the overall annual plan and tracking achievements against the plan on fortnightly basis.
b. Thematic input: Provide technical input for the project and guide the implementing team.
c. Team Productivity: Manage and guide the team towards ensuring efficient project deliveries.
d. Documentation and interface: Be responsible for developing content for dissemination, and for all reports and communication with stakeholders.
Person Specification:
The person will be required to be self-motivated and should ideally possess the following:
Qualifications: Masters degree with experience in NRM sector.
Experience: Ten years in the development sector and substantial part of it in the specific domain.
Language: Good communication skills and strong command over English language
Strong Quantitative and Analytical skills.
