Access to safe drinking water is fundamental to public health, community wellbeing, and sustainable development. Yet ensuring water quality requires not only awareness, but also practical skills, scientific understanding, and strong field-based capacity.
We are pleased to announce a residential hands-on training on Drinking Water Quality Testing and Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage (HWTS), scheduled from April 27-30, 2026 at WASH Academy, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, in collaboration with CAWST.
This training will offer participants the opportunity to build practical knowledge and hands-on experience in:
👉 Physical, chemical, and microbiological water quality analysis
👉 Safe water sampling and interpretation of results
👉 Quality assurance and control
👉 Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage (HWTS)
👉 Work in a NABL-accredited laboratory setting
The training is free of cost, and lodging, boarding, and meals will be provided.
This is a valuable opportunity for WASH professionals, government officials, and laboratory personnel working to strengthen drinking water safety systems.
