Sir,

We are residing in Saraswathi nagar, Adambakkam,Chennai. We have a bore well pump 90 feet below. It was drilled 16 years back. But now it has stopped pumping water. We doubt if ground water exists. Can the same bore be flushed out and tried again? Shall we drill a new Borewell?

Pl kindly suggest.

Dear All,

I have a property in Madipakkam, Chennai. I drilled borewell in the year 2000 in my property at about 200 ft. From that time till now, I am getting only one bucket of water, approximately equivalent to 50 litres per day till now.

I feel that this is very low and so am thinking of reinspecting the bore. I would like to know if borewell endoscopy using a camera will give me a clear picture of what the problem is.  Could anyone please be able to recommen a good vendor for borewell endoscopy with a camera at Chennai?

I'm planning to dig a borewell in my hometown (Dindigul, Tamilnadu). Our earlier 2 attempts failed. Since my place is a drought area and nearby borewells are more than 1000ft, I would like to know anyone who can help us to find the correct spot of water source with 100% accuracy. I do not believe in people who use coconuts, neem sticks for finding ground water.

I recently drilled a borewell in my site in Erode, but could not find water source even after going beyond 940 ft, hence stopped the drilling. Before drilling borewell, I got the site verified by water diviner (who brought a machine and found a point to drill. Mr. Natarajan-9842776565). But could not trace water even after crossing 940 ft, though the estimated depth was 650-700 ft. I have wasted my money, nearly 1 lakh!

In the beginning, the borewell water showed a good ph of 8.5, but was greyish color as there was some grey sand getting mixed in it, so we put some pebbles to block the sand from getting in. But now, I am getting a sewage and chemical kind of smell from the water.

I'm really starting to get annoyed, advice is deeply appreciated. My bore well is currently 80 feet, had not used it for 5 years and just got it fixed. We have cleaned the new pump twice, and I have spent around 18K on it. Now the water is kind of whitish with a slight sewage like smell coming from it.
