How do we conserve water so we do not have to face acute shortage in the future?

Water, the most precious commodity is being abused to such an extent that there is fear that this might lead to another world war or it may be difficult even to get drinking water. The Yettinahole Diversion Project aims to supply water to water-starved Kolar and Chikkaballapur in Karnataka. Diverting the Netravathi river for this purpose need not be the only solution.

In July 2012, the Government of Karnataka approved the Yettinahole Diversion Project (YDP), which will cost an estimated Rs. 12,912.36 crore. The mega campaign to conserve fuel

Hello,

Can anybody give me the factors that I need to consider while deciding whether a UV+UF procedure is required along with RO for water purification. Is there any benefit if UV+UF is considered?

How many stages of purification is required if water contains high TDS?

Please help me.
