I want to drill a borewell at my land in Jayankonda, Ariyalur (DT). What is the typical cost per feet of bore, considering use of good quality materials for it. We plan to go up to 550 feet? Please tell me for this depth what would be the expense incurred, all inclusive?

Dear Sir,
Recently I got a borewell drilled at my site in Parappana Agrahara (Hosur road), Bangalore, casing upto 40 feet. I have got the first source at around 250-300 feet, but after that we did not get any sources till 1050 feet. As per the borewell person he said i have around 0.5 inch yield in the borewell. Need your suggestion if I should to invest further on this borewell (installing motor and other stuff?). Any how I am going to scan (through some experts) the borewell before investing. Please suggest.

Greetings to the entire Team.

You guys are doing a brilliant job. I have a two storey villa in Kerala. We get plenty of rain during the monsoons but that holds no help when the sweltering heat of the summer comes in. The well at our villa runs almost dry during peak summer. I am looking for simple ways as to how we can conserve water in simple cost efficent methods.

Fun cooking with friends at the Nirmal Bharat Yatra

If food was a religion, I'd happily be a border-line theist. Waking up past 9, I was certain, I had missed the breakfast. But, it wasn’t so much a concern as I looked at my backpack and smiled, inside there was a newly acquired box containing honey-coated cornflakes.

As I met Urmila outside our tent, she asked if I had had breakfast, mornings around here are all about who managed to get up on time to have breakfast, as late nights are a norm.

We had drilled a borewell in May 2012 and there was lot of water during the first six month but now as per the borewell technician there is no water inside. We had drilled upto 150 ft borewell, is it possible that water is not stored at the base of borewell. The pump machine and electricity supply is ok, please give advice.

Regards
Prashant
