At some locations, municipal wastewater is directly taken to secondary treatment and the primary treatment is skipped. 1. I want to know what happens when the primary treatment is skipped. 2. Does this impact sizing and performance of aeration tank as all the load is directly sent to the secondary treatment. 3. Does it affect the secondary clarifier sizing, loading and detention time. 5. In what way the two process are advantageous or disadvantageous over each other.
