I am from Karnataka. I recently digged a borewell which is about 530 feet in depth and the water that was yielded is at 390 feet. I initially installed a 1HP pump 11 stages upto 190 feet depth which was not advisable by anyone. However, I still tried it because I didn't have water and I measured the water to be standing at only 60 feet so I took the risk since I was already having the motor. To my surprise water from the 1HP motor is coming continuously up to 12 hours after which only the pressure is reduced.

Now I want an advice from you to install which pump. Can I install a 5HP pump as I need water for agriculture purpose?  Please help
