Hi, what purifying method should be used for water having high TDS level ? I have read on your site that for purifying drinking water having TDS level above 500, an RO purifier should be used, but my question is regarding water for non-drinking purposes like bathing, cleaning, etc. I have heard that if the TDS levels of water is high it leads to hair loss, skin problems, scaling of utensils, tiles & all the equipments like water heater, etc. In that case do we need to use a salt based or non-salt based water softeners for the whole house. Please tell me that what should be the TDS level of water above which we will have all these problems. And whether a salt based softener is better or a non salt base softener? Thanks, Srujan
