My house and farm is at Village Lavel, District Ratnagiri, Province Khed (Maharashtra state). I am planning to dig a well in my farm. The chosen location is at lower level than surroundingsl. The well would be surrounded by a hilly (100ft high) area on three sides. During rainy season this area floods with water. What corrective measures are to be taken to avoid pressure of flowing water and possible damage to the shoring wall. Kindly advise.
