Dear experts,

We had a bore of 4.5 inch and 400 feet depth which was working perfectly since 10 years or even more. One day our opposite building dig a new borewell just around 20 feet away from our borewell and due to this our borewell went dry and there was no further water available for our borewell. We did a flush trying to see if we can get some water, however, in vain. So, we called the borewell guys to re-drill the existing bore, all said that they do not drill/re-drill 4.5 inch, moreover, suggested to go for a new drill of 6 Inch. When we did the drilling of about 300 feet, water started gushing from the neighboring borewell which is around 15 feet away. The borewell guys suddenly stopped and said they cannot drill further as this may cause issues. Need your expert opinion/suggestions on this. This is in Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore.
