I am Srikrishna from Universal Biofuels, Kakinada. We have commissioned a 50 m3/day capacity waste water treatment plant.

• Type of industry: Oil refinery and glycerin refinery,
• Mode of treatment: Primary clarifier, aeration tank; secondary clarifier.

I have two queries:

• Number one, during the ETP operation the pH of the aeration tank reduces even when the MLSS is sufficient for operation.
• Second, we would like to know about how to maintain MLSS and pH in the aeration tank even if there is no waste water feed. (Sometimes we will not have waste water during off season time)
