I would like to bring to your notice about the wastage of precious water in Bangalore and mostly elsewhere. It gives me a pain in my heart when I see people wasting a pipe thick water to clean the roads in front of their house and in the house or vehicles. It makes sense if the whole world had abundant water supply but we are aware that there are thousands of unfortunate people in North Karnataka who do not have water in this hot summer for irrigation or even for drinking. I had mailed BWSSB chairman and BBMP to see if they can ban the usage of water for cleaning vehicles and roads, houses during summer months in Bangalore from Feb 15th to June 1st.

But, I did not get any reply. Please can you do something about this? The lakes are vanishing and whatever limited supply of water we have is also being wasted. Today morning I clicked a picture (attached with this) of one such example where a maid of a big bungalow in BTM layout is using huge amounts of water to clean the outside of the house (and he had already done it the whole part of the house inside the compound). :-(

Can your team do something to spread awareness among people by campaigns or rally and ask the authorities to BAN wastage of water?
