Dear members,

I am aware of the CPVC option for the plumbing in general. My architect/engineer is strongly insisting that I should use GI pipes for the portions in the bathrooms which will be concealed by plastering. Rest will be CPVC pipes. Are there any advantages of GI pipes compared to CPVC in such situations (concealed in the wall) ? I am aware of the GI high cost compared to CPVC pipes.
