This summer we had a borewell dug at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Below are the details of the system. 

Was drilled till 260ft, during pipe insertion it went till only 200ft. 4.5inch pipes have been put inside. 60ft pipe at bottom is jali wala pipe, 140 ft ordinary pipe. Pipes are surrounded by stones (gitti). 1 horsepower pump (1inch) is inserted inside at 100ft. After 3 days the contractor ran compressor for 3hr. During the drilling process clean water was obtained, but ever since it has been providing muddy water. Is there a permanent solution for the issue?
