QUESTION
Silt & rust damage to submersible pump: Need solutions

I have drilled on 6.5" borewell to a depth of 620' , The casing pipe of 7" dia was installed upto a depth of 85'. After installing the submersible pump of 2 HP - 35 stages - at a depth of 580' the borewell was working fine for 1 month and then during rainy days the pump didn't work. When the pump was pulled out and inspected the rotor was damaged due to silt(as said by the pump manufacturers). Then they repaired and again installed it back for a depth of 450' by covering the pump with a fine mesh. For  one month the pump was working fine .The next month again the pump didn't work but this time when the pump was inspected there was no continuity from the pump to the panel board. This time also the pump manufacturers say that due to silt only the continuity has broke. Can anyone give a solution- remedy for this .

Now the pump is in my office  and I am talking with the manufacturers. The pump gets rusted  while it is in ground. then how will it be rustproof when submerged in water?
