Where can I find information on hydraulic conductivity of soils?  I am looking for very broad information in the context of India. I am professor at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. I am enrolled in the doctoral program in the Department of Architecture at the School and wish to demonstrate that because different soils have different capacity to convey water falling on its surface, even though two cities may have the same set of rainfall and all other conditions, the potential to use this water by harvesting would be different.

The end use of the information is academic and information source/s would be duly credited in my thesis.
