I am doing a research to understand why the water streams that use to flow earlier has completely vanished. Need your help in getting the rainfall reports. I am from Kolar- Karnataka and I am focusing on understanding the reports in this region. I am doing a research to understand why the water streams that use to flow earlier(say 15-20 years) have completely vanished.

I really wanted to understand if it is because of less rain or because the water streams are blocked because of growing urbanization. There were few monsoons that looked heavy but I don't get to see lakes getting filled and the so called small water streams where we use to play during childhood are no more visible/rather vanished. Please share me any dump data that you have so that I can sort and understand the crises better.
