ISKCON Food Relief Foundation is implementing the Mid Day Meal Project of Govt of India. We are setting up a new kitchen at Wada, Thane Dist, Maharashtra. This kitchen will cater to about 50,000 school students. The premises are not connected to any drainage system. There is an open well with good water as the source of water supply.

Our waste water per day will be in the range of 20,000 litres, mainly from the washing of containers. Please suggest the best method for disposing it off. We are confused between Septic tank and Soak Pit. Please give details. Are ready to use varieties of techniques available to achieve the best possible result.
