Hi,

Our society, in Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali (West) has a borewell. The water from this bore is used for toilets. The water is muddy and is causing stains in the taps and toilet bowels. This water when used for washing cars is leaving a thick residue of dust/salt.

We have not done a water test; however given that the water is muddy and is kind of corroding the taps, I assume we can expect it to have high levels of disolved minerals.

Are there filters/treating processes available that can filter this water either at the source or in the overhead tank? Please suggest
