We are farmers from Keezhapuliyur near Tenkasi in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu. We are facing acute water problems for harvesting and are dependant on groundwater even though we are at the foot hills (though in rainshadow region) of western ghats for the past 10 years.

Please suggest ways by which we can determine the groundwater level in the village so that we can find out whether it is possible to continue practising agriculture any more?
