I have an open well in my house in Ernakulam district, Kerala. It is around 20 to 30 feet deep. Our problem is that during very heavy summer season we experience shortage of water.Cracking rocks with explosives won't work in our case, because the well is so close to one of the bedrooms. I have heard about cracking rocks using chemicals without any blast, through chemical reactions. Is there any approved person/organisation doing such kind of work in Ernakulam district ? My another doubt is, if by such a process I get water then will that be potable i.e without the presence of chemicals used? Is there any purification method we need to use after this process.
