Hi,

I dug a borewell in Bangalore close to a lake that had gone dry at summer 2012. Inspite of drilling to a depth of 1055 feet, there was no water. Casing was done up to 36 feet and the remaining was completely rock.

Recently when I checked, the water level was at 70 feet in July 2013. I am confused if the raise in water level is due to rainfall seepage or due to increase in groundwater table due to monsoon rains. The lake is also now full of water. 

Please advice as to what should I infer as the water level of my borewell. My contact is 09845379708
