We are having a departmental deep borewell  (depth: 275') in village Guhan near Kurukshetra, which was drilled nearly six months back. The quality of water is very good but for the last few days the water turns brownish on keeping some time. when the Iron content was analyzed it was 1.82 mg/l. The water of nearby borewells do not have this problem. What would be the reason behind the sudden increase of Iron level ?
