Hello,

Is there a way to reduce sound from borewell compressor pump? I have heard of options like switching to submersible pump etc., This is not possible as the water yield is low and we have to go with compressor pump only.

So, Please let me know of ways to reduce sound like

1) Preparing a box to cover pump - In this option, there can be issue of overheating of pump due to lack of ventilation. Any ideas?

2) Will putting a proper bed for pump reduce sound? - I guess, it will reduce vibration but not sound

3) If the air exit pipe is extended and left over top of the building, will it reduce sound?

Please suggest
