I have a borewell dug up for domestic usage as well as to water garden plants. Bore is dug to a total depth of 250 ft, and capped with 6 inch pipe till a depth of 40 ft. There after the bore is 4 inch dia till the bottom. Water was found at 80 feet depth during dry season. It overflows during rainy season.

Kindly advise the specification od the submersible pump that I should use to draw water fro mthis bore along with details of piping. Also what can be the flow rate achieved from this arrangement.

It would greatly assist if you can explain how to calculate HP requirement & flow rate calculations.
