I have recently constructed a House in Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore.  We dug a borewell in Dec 2006 and could not use it immediately because of delay in starting house construction. The house construction was started in April 2007 and completed in March 2008. The borewell water
is now red in colour and has lot of sand content. When the water is put in sump, we can see the red colour sand at the bottom.  The water is also red in colour. so we have stopped using the water and currently procure water from tanker lorries. 

A compressor pump is used in the borewell. The test report of the water is attached. Kindly advice on how to ensure potable water supply from the borewell.
