I recently dug a borewell in Hoody Cirlce, Bangalore.

• PVC Casing - 80 Feet
• MS Casing - 120 feet
• Borewell depth 800 feet

There is no sign of water overflow during borewell, only dry sand and, some times, water drops out like a small drizzles (rainlike). Now I need advice on proper rain water harvesting.

I am planning to filter and remove the dirt and storing this water in a 1000 litre tank and over flow to be directed to sand filters dug around the borwell and that overflow in to a 6000 litre sump.

Please let me know about other methods like direct injection with a pipe. Which method is advisable?
