I am in the process of planning 3-4 recharge structures for a sports ground based in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. For the same I needed your help on the following points.

1) I would like to know how does one identify the best recharge points to ensure fast and maximum percolation of the rainwater harvested. 

2) Are there any tests that can be conducted.

3) Also how does one decide to what depth to dig the bore well to be used for recharging.

4) In a site of 5-6 acres, how does one decide where to locate the recharge pits.

Would appreciate your help on the same.
