Hello,

Can any one suggest the required HP required for a pump, that takes suction from a depth of 40 feet,horizontal length of 1000 ft and delivers it at a height of 13 feet.?

Also, what precautions should be taken when installing a pump with 1140ft sucton line? The dealer has suggested that I install a 1 HP piston pump,  of Kumar brand with 1" HDPE pipe for suction and delevery.

Will this be ok?
