There is an urgent need to assess ground water reserves/resources, quantity as well as quality wise, on micro levelor the village as a unit, for proper planning ,utilization, management, augmentatation and conservation, on the basis of fair and accurate estimations. Most of the resources estimations done or being dopted currently are broadbased and calculated in a crude manner/ methodolgy, with a lot of assumptions.
