QUESTION
Foaming problem in fibre industry ETP : Need solutions

I am working on solving a foaming problem occurring during effluent treatment in the fibre industry. The salient features of the ETP system, industry are as below:

My ETP Plant is biologically based n the capacity of my plant is about 1500 ppm COD. My industry refers to industrial fibre, the fibre is prepared by MIXING PTA (pure terthalic acid) and mono ethyl glycol. And other fibre prepared from PET flakes(i;e small chips of plastic botlles of carbonated drinks/mineral water but bottle should not made up of PVC i;e poly vinyl chloride).

The capacity of  ETP plant :-
                                      Equalization tank-200cum
                                      Flash mixer      -2.5cum
                                      Floculator          -10cum
                                      Primary settling tank - 60cum
                                      Aeration tank - 475cum
                                      Secondary settling tank - 150cum
                                       Polishing tank - 100cum

Finish oil is used in fibre for removing anti static charge that may create foam in my ETP plant and also little amount of phosphate in Jet Water pump. The COD of incoming water remain near about 1000 and COD of treated water remain near about 100/80.  Lime is used in pre-treatment water for maintaining pH, at about 7 for incoming water.Amount of effluent is based on production. Production is 30 ton(PTA fibre), 34 ton(PET fibre). Urea and DAP is used for sludge developing.

The main problem being faced is the incidence of a large amount of foaming. Kindly help me in solving the issue.
