I plotted my results for dam breach analysis using HEC-RAS model. Velocity vs time graph shows maximum velocity of flood flow at any place is 0.06 m/s to 0.08 m/s after modelling, there are also other velocity but one of them is in this range. Please, can anyone tell me is it correct or not. Is there any range of velocity that have to occur during floods?  My study area comes under Tarai region of Uttarakhand.
