QUESTION
Can a well in ayacut area be officially used to irrigate a farm in a non ayacut region in Namakkal, TN ?

I have purchased a well alongside the river cavery near the Poolampatti Barrage, and my farm is approx.4km from this well. There are two canals enroute which need to be crossed. I am in the process of obtaining permission with the concerned authorities

a. Village Panchayat - for laying the pipes alongside the panchayat road

b. Electricity Board - for getting free electricity

c. Public Works Department - for crossing the two canals and along side state highways (approx. 2kms)

(i.e., This well was dug before 1947, before the canals were built.)

At this point I am considering transporting water through a tractor tanker (approx. 8000lts) to the farm, since the process of obtaining these approvals has been very strenuous and expensive.

I am a very passionate person when it comes to agriculture and since this project would ensure perennial water source for the farm, I have pursued this initiative.

I was hoping to get some advice or help in completing this project.
