Two years back the motor and pump set were stuck in the borewell at our residence. When we tried to take it out, the hose and wires came out leaving the set in the borewell itself. Possibly it was stuck in mud. Technicians told us to use another set, so we left the old set in borewell itself. At that time water was sufficient, but now the water level has gone down. As a backup we constructed a sump tank to use municipal water. Are there any methods to clear out the set that is stuck in the borewell, as it is within the corridor of house? Are there any blasting or any other clearing technique feasible for retaining the borewell point? What may be the cost involved?
