We have around 400 feet borewell, but for some reason we did not use it for long. Recently, we tried to use the borewell but could not extract any water, so we tried to pull the motor to see if it was functioning properly. However, while pulling the motor up it fell into the borehole but the remaining cable and pipes came up. We have realised that removing the old motor or fixing the new one would cost us same. Now my question is that if we leave the old motor inside will it cause any problem in future? Can we fix outside/mono/compressor motor instead of submersible motor for 400 feet depth borewell? Or you have any other suggestions.
