I have drilled borewell on my land in Tumkur road, Bangalore 1.5 months back and the driller informed me that I had between 1.5 to 1.75 inches of water. When I installed the submersible pump then I got good amount of water on the first day, but after that the water quantity is very very less.
Below are the details of my bore and the pump:
Total Drilled is 550 feet, I got first source at 300feet (1 inch) and second one at 4.10 feet (1.5 inch) and casing done upto 147 feet.
Pump with 2 HP and 40 stages (each stage covers 14 feet) and the pipe and the cable installed upto 500 feet out of 550 feet.

The day before we installed the pump we measured that out of 550 feet 500feet was filled with water. On first day when pump was installed we got water nearly for 2.0 Hrs with the full force. Then  from the next day we are getting water about 3 barrels (may be 500 lts) after not using the bore for 224 Hrs. Can any one suggest me what might be the problem. We are observing that the water has improved from last 2-3 days. The water belt in this area is not so strong, can any one give me inputs on what to do next & what might be the possible issue here.
