About the Organization :
The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute was established by Government of India on February 3rd 1947 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and later it joined the ICAR family in 1967. During the course of over 78 years the Institute has emerged as a leading tropical marine fisheries research institute in the world.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience :
Graduates from a recognized University with a minimum of three year experience in Marine finfish hatchery operation, broodstock management and larval rearing of marine finfishes
Desirable Experience :
Postgraduate with Specialization in Fisheries Science/ Marine biology/ Industrial fisheries Aquaculture and/ Swimming and diving capabilities (sea cage maintenance of fishes).
